The Embassy of Canada is pleased to announce that it is funding the following projects through the 2016-2017 Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) program.

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) provides direct funding assistance to community groups, non-government organizations, people’s organizations and in exceptional cases, international NGOs, and government institutions for small projects addressing sexual and gender based violence, human rights, democratic transition, rule of law, economic governance, preventing child, early and forced marriage (CEFM) and protecting religious freedom.

The six projects were selected from amongst 132 applications.  The assessment of received applications was done solely by Canadian Embassy in Zagreb meanwhile the Embassy is working in cooperation with the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation, which is responsible for local coordination.
