KCSF participated in the Civil Society and Think Tank Forum under the Berlin Process

KCSF participated in the Good Governance panel of the Civil Society and Think Tank Forum under the Berlin Process in Podgorica.

On this occasion, KCSF Executive Director Dren Puka, highlighted that while digitalisation is often seen as the silver bullet for governance, technology alone cannot guarantee transparency or citizen participation. “Without genuine political will, e-platforms risk becoming tick-the-box exercises, leaving citizens frustrated and further eroding trust. Good governance requires participation, and civil society must continue to push for real accountability, while the EU should strengthen its conditionality to ensure not only the existence of platforms but also their usability and inclusiveness,” he added.

The Forum took place in Podgorica, Montenegro, on Sept. 22-23, 2025, supported and organized by the Government of the United Kingdom and the British Council.
