“Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection – KOMF”, through the institutional grant, is engaged in improving the condition of children and their rights in Kosovo, especially in improving the condition of children and families in need of social services. KOMF, through intensive advocacy, managed to postpone the finalization of the new Law on Social and Family Services, which is expected to be processed for adoption. KOMF has also held a series of workshops related to social services and child protection with professionals working in the relevant field. Over 400 professionals working in child protection at central, local and non-governmental levels have benefited from the series of workshops on implementation of the Law on Child Protection and over 200 professionals working in child protection have benefited from the series of workshops on planning, monitoring, budgeting and contracting of social services, in order to provide quality social services.
