Over 40 young people from the village of Balaj of Ferizaj, have been involved in volunteer work and activities through the “Program of active youth in the village of Balaj- Rri’ON”. This project is an initiative of Granit Sadiku, which he has implemented for six months through the Grant for Volunteerism in this locality.

Through the game and activities, they have identified and mapped the needs of the community as well as committed themselves to finding solutions or minimizing the problems of the village. The program has managed to contribute to young people in the development of knowledge, values ??and skills such as: critical thinking, professional training, communication, social skills, decision-making, leadership and awareness raising for active citizenship.

Grants for Volunteerism are offered within the Resource Center for Civil Society in Kosovo, a project co-financed by the European Union (EU) and Sweden and implemented by the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM).
