International Youth Day, gathered dozens of young men and women in Gjakova in a series of activities organized by Activism Roots, through the “Build a career through volunteering” project, which is supported through the Grant for Volunteerism.
Activism Roots, during the 7 months that it has implemented this project, has managed to include over 300 young people aged 15-24 from the municipality of Gjakova, in various trainings and discussions aimed at educating them on the importance of volunteering with a focus on the many advantages of volunteering that can positively affect their future careers.
Today, these young people, in addition to being involved in activities, had the opportunity to be certified by this organization for their participation and engagement in volunteer activities during this year.
Grants for Volunteerism are offered within the Resource Center for Civil Society in Kosovo, a project co-financed by the European Union (EU) and Sweden and implemented by the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM).
