CIVICUS Civil Society Index is a action-based research of current state of civil society conducted through a participatory methodology, and aims to study the current situation in order to initiate future actions on advancing civil society in Kosovo.

CIVIL SOCIETY INDEX NATIONAL WORKSHOP ~ 15 DECEMBER 2010, PRISHTINA

CIVICUS Civil Society Index is a action-based research of current state of civil society conducted through a participatory methodology, and aims to study the current situation in order to initiate future actions on advancing civil society in Kosovo.

Following the data validation and recommendations issued from Focus Group and Advisory Committee meetings, more than 60 representatives from civil society, public institutions, business and media are gathered in a National Workshop. The participants will validate the final qualitative and quantitative data and issue concrete recommendations for the future actions to be taken in order to advance civil society position in Kosovo.

The National Workshop took place in 15th of December 2010, in KCSF premises in Prishtina, representing the final activity of the project. This project will be concluded with two final publications, namely Kosovo Country Analytical Report and Kosovo Policy Brief.

The study is based on the global methodology provided by CIVICUS – World Alliance for Citizen Participation, and is financially supported by Balkan Trust for Democracy (BTD).
