The third edition of the School of Activism concluded

Representatives of over 20 civil society organizations that successfully completed the 3rd edition of School for Activism, were informed today about the possibility of benefiting from the expertise in different fields as part of the mentoring process that is offered free of charge to the participants of the School.

During a reception at the KCSF premises, they had the opportunity to exchange ideas and present the current needs of their organizations, which could be supported through mentoring and the creation of sectoral groups for the European integration process.

At the same time, they received the final certificates of participation in the third generation of the School for Activism.

At the opening of this ceremony, Anne-Sophie Houee, Team Leader – Section for Cooperation in the EU Office in Kosovo, emphasized that the EU welcomes the support of KCSF to the CSOs participating in the School. “The EU welcomes KCSF essential capacity building support to over 20 CSOs which are now better prepared to defend the rights of their communities, reduce gender disparities, and promote better actions that respond to people’s needs. The EU is committed to continue supporting a dynamic, strong and accountable civil society sector in Kosovo”, said Houee.

Meanwhile, Dren Puka, the Department director at KCSF, underlined that the conclusion of the third edition of the School for Activism means that over 70 organizations are better prepared to work in the community and contribute to public life. “The cooperation of KCSF with the CSOs participating in the School for Activism, with the continuous support of the EU, will continue further with the mentoring process that will be offered depending on the needs of the organizations”, added Puka.
