After the deadline for submitting applications for Institutional Grants in the EJA Kosovo program, applications were received from 67 civil society organizations. Following the completion of all phases of administrative control to ensure the fulfillment of basic qualification criteria and the submission of complete documentation, 59 organizations have progressed to the next evaluation phase. Through this call, KCSF plans to allocate around 960,000 euros for two or three-year grants, with a maximum amount of 40,000 euros per year.

The content evaluation will be carried out by five members of the Grant Evaluation Team, who have already been selected by lot from the public list of external evaluators of the EJA Kosovo program, available on the KCSF website. This phase includes the evaluation of strategies and other documents of the applicant organizations, office visits by KCSF staff, as well as public interviews for shortlisted organizations. At the end of the process, the Grant Evaluation Team will recommend up to 8 organizations with the highest scores for funding, provided that at least 30% of them are from outside Prishtina. After completing the veto process by the donors of the EJA Kosovo program, KCSF will invite the selected organizations to sign funding contracts.

The next call for Institutional Grants of the EJA Kosovo program is expected to be announced at the beginning of 2025. During 2024, calls for Emergency Grants, Small Project Grants, Support for International Representation, and Support for International Networking have already been opened, while the call for Organizational Development Grants will be opened by the end of the year.
