International Roma Day is celebrated today, April 8, to honor Roma history, culture, language and heritage.

On this day, we must remember the endurance and strength of the Roma community, and their efforts for equality and justice. However, we must also acknowledge that the Roma still face oppression, racism and discrimination in society, leading them to poverty, injustice, violence and harsh living conditions.

KCSF remains committed to promoting equality and social justice for the protection of human rights for members of the Roma community in Kosovo and beyond.
