Within European Integration School, organized by Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and financed by Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KFOS), a workshop entitled “Reform of Public Administration – challenges to respond the EU integration process” was held in Durrës, Albania. Workshop topics included discussion and breakdown of effective public administration needs, accountable and responsive to the needs of the process of Kosovo – EU relations.
The workshop aimed to discuss in-depth reform of public administration in Kosovo and Kosovo preparations that need to be done to negotiate an SAA with the EU and structures which should be set up.
Public administration reform has been and continues to be a challenge for the region and therefore, in order to share the experience, the organizers have invited experts and representatives of institutions from the region. For this reason the organizers have invited experts from Kosovo who are responsible for implementation, experts from European Union and member states, as well as experts from the region, Macedonia, Albania and Montenegro.
Besides experts mentioned, the Albanian Minister of Innovation and Public Administration, Ms. Milena Harito, addressed to the participants.
Overall this workshop has gathered about 50 participants, including civil society and media.
