In every civil society engagement, the gender perspective must be present from the initial idea to implementation. Only then can we talk about initiatives that are truly inclusive, fair, and transformative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For this reason, as part of our ongoing commitment, the School of Activism always includes a dedicated module on Gender Mainstreaming<\/em> in the work of civil society organizations. This is because we are convinced that civic engagement without gender sensitivity is incomplete and ineffective, and gender equality must be a fundamental pillar of every effort for social change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over the course of two days, more than 20 participants had the opportunity to deepen their understanding and practical application of this approach, aiming for gender equality not just to be a principle, but an integral part of everyday organizational and community life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At #KCSF, we believe that any policy, project, or intervention that does not see the world through a gender lens risks reproducing inequalities. That\u2019s why we work to strengthen the capacities of organizations in this area, because equality does not happen by itself\u2014it is built through knowledge, will, and shared commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nicole Farnsworth, as a lecturer, provided explanations on the basics and concepts of gender equality, the gender context in Kosovo, the use of gender-sensitive language in organizational documents, integrating the gender perspective into all phases of the project cycle, as well as gender-responsive budgeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, lecturer Donjeta Morina spoke about the importance of the gender perspective in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, and practical ways of incorporating this perspective into the daily work of CSOs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This activity was organized with the financial support of the European Union and Sweden.
