Shqipe Gjocaj is a feminist activist, a gender specialist, and a researcher in the civil society sector. She has advanced knowledge on gender issues and human rights. She works with research, writing and analysis, as well as conducting capacity-building programs for youth, groups of women, representatives of civil society organizations, and public officials. Furthermore, she is a feminist author and writes regularly on gender-related issues, women’s rights, minority rights, and gender-based violence. She has a bachelor degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Prishtina and an MA in Cultural Studies from the Hedmark University College in Norway.
