Armend, who has been an active and dedicated member of KCSF’s Board, now steps into the role of Chair of Board, bringing with him over two decades of international experience in democracy, peace, and security.

He currently serves as a researcher at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University in Sweden.

Armend previously held senior positions at the Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation as Senior Manager for Peace and Security and at International IDEA as Senior Programme Officer for Democracy Assessment, both based in Sweden.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading global institutions, including OSCE, USAID, UNDP, the United Nations, and IDLO, advancing initiatives that foster democratic governance and sustainable peace.

With his expertise, vision, and deep commitment to Kosovo’s democratic development, Armend’s leadership will be invaluable in guiding KCSF’s mission to strengthen civil society and promote democracy in Kosovo and beyond.
