The final module of the School of Activism has concluded, addressing techniques for community mobilization

Community mobilization is one of the most important techniques to empower citizens to address their needs and contribute to the development of the community where they live. This mobilization involves building networks, creating coalitions, and developing continuous dialogue between citizens, civil society organizations, and institutions. Through mobilization, communities become more aware of their collective power and more capable of influencing decision-making and driving positive social change.

For this reason, the sixth and final module of the fourth edition of the School of Activism was dedicated to the theme “Community Mobilization Techniques.”

Over the course of two training days, over 20 participants gained theoretical and practical knowledge on:

  • The definition of community and its forms of organization;
  • Strategies for empowering citizens to address their needs;
  • Mobilization methods and the importance of networking;
  • Planning and designing a communication plan for community mobilization.

The lecturers of this module were Ms. Adelina Hasani, senior researcher at the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) and publicist, and Mr. Muhamet Hajrullahu, journalist and editor-in-chief of Telegrafi.com, with extensive experience in public communication and media strategies.
